Office Assistant-

This is an offer for a full time, office assistant position. The ideal individual is detail oriented, has outstanding communication skills, good knowledge and understanding of accounting, and a team oriented approach. Good computer skills such as knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word are a must. QuickBooks accounting knowledge is a plus.
• Various entries into QuickBooks accounting software
• Analysis and processing of AR/AP invoices
• Preparation of Excel spreadsheets
• Communicates via phone conversations, email, fax and letters with customers concerning status of AR payments.
• Interfaces with Sales and Operations to resolve billing, collection and credit issues.
• Provide AP support to internal & external customers
• Verbal & written communication with vendors
• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of time
• Assists in financial management and analysis as requested
• Extended detailed projects requiring accuracy and precision
• Team environment with individual and team goals
• Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting required or Two years’ exp.
• Solid understanding of accounting principals
• Demonstrated ability for accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
