Essential Job Functions:
• Prepare and display foods utilizing proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity and quality in accordance with company standards, recipes, and policies.
• Operate equipment (e.g., slicing equipment, knives, cash register) according to company guidelines.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Greet and wait on customers and respond to customer inquiries promptly and cheerfully.
• Increase store sales and profits through suggestive selling techniques.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with company and Health Department policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins
• Demonstrated aptitude for managing people and organizing workloads
• Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion
• Friendly, approachable and outgoing demeanor with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers
