This is an Administrative Support position responsible for assisting in office personnel (auditor, scheduler, HR support, and supervisors with the daily administrative duties and data entry activities.
• Operates photocopy machines, adding machines, calculators, computers, printers and related equipment.
• Develops and drafts management reports, spreadsheets, memos and correspondence as assigned by staff.
• Assists with payroll & timekeeping administration.
• Assists HR department with data entry duties.
• Greets the public courteously and answers questions.
• Assists Audit Dept. with data entry duty.
• Assists recruiting with emailing application links, candidate phone screens, and reference checking.
• Performs other work as required and assigned.
• Handling of multiple tasks and responsibilities at any given time. Ability to adjust daily work schedule to meet timely deliverable.
Minimum Requirements
Administrative and/or Clerical Experience
• High school diploma/GED
• Exceptional computer skills, and track record of successful employment.
• Knowledge of computer (PC) and internet applications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent telephone tact and diplomacy
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including correct usage of grammar and terminology.
• Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry (minimum 45 wpm)
• Well-developed time management skills
• Dependable, accurate and detail-oriented
• Final candidates for this position will need to successfully complete a background investigation, which includes a criminal check and DMV check.
No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of business problems.
Sensory Requirements:
Some tasks require oral communications ability and visual perception and discrimination.
Environmental Factors:
This job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor and/or calculator. Other job duties performed include an outdoor environment in heat and subject to inclement weather conditions.
